Fans React to SEVENTEEN’s 10 Million KRW Meal: Dinner Costs More Than a Car?

On the May 25 episode of JTBC’s Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, members Hoshi and Woozi appeared as special guests to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary. As the chefs whipped up gourmet dishes for the duo, the conversation turned to something equally rich, SEVENTEEN’s dining bills.
Host Kim Sung-joo shocked everyone by saying, “Their group dinner cost 10 million won (~$7,300).” The panel was visibly stunned.

Hoshi recalled the moment: “It was our first time eating yakiniku in Japan. We didn’t realize how expensive it was and just grilled everything like samgyeopsal.” Turns out, they were feasting on Kobe beef, at a whopping 80,000 won per serving.
Cartoonist Kim Poong joked, “That’s like devouring a compact car.”
SEVENTEEN doesn’t just dine big, they also meet monthly with strict attendance rules. Hoshi shared, “If you skip, there’s a 10 million won fine. If you’re late, it’s 100,000 won per minute.”

But there’s heart behind the rules. Woozi explained, “The money goes toward meals for our staff, not for us.” Fans praised the group for their team spirit and thoughtfulness.
And speaking of Woozi, his songwriting skills are the stuff of legend. Hoshi teased, “He’s written almost 200 songs now. I checked his composer account once and couldn’t count the number of zeroes.” No wonder he’s known as SEVENTEEN’s royalty-rich producer.
As of May 26, SEVENTEEN celebrates their 10th anniversary with the release of their 5th full-length album, HAPPY BURSTDAY, at 6PM KST.
